Arthur T. Elliott

Arthur T. Elliott, 93, Macungie, formerly of Philadelphia and Sellersville, PA died May 27, 2009 at home. He was the husband of Dorothy (Glancey) Elliott. Born in Pottsville, PA he was the son of the late Arthur Thomas & Elizabeth (Lentz) Elliott. He had owned the former A. T. Elliott Heating and Fuel Oil Company in Philadelphia. After relocating to the Sellersville area, Arthur was a former owner of the Argus Inn of West Rockhill Twp., Bucks County. He was a member of the Most Blessed Sacrament Church in Bally and was a 4th degree Knight with the Knights of Columbus. Arthur also served as past president of Castor Gardens Lions Club in Philadelphia. Arthur proudly served his country in the U.S. Navy during WW II. In addition to his wife, he is survived by a son Glenn Elliott, D.O. and his wife Cecilia of Macungie; and two grandchildren - Mallory and Madison. He was preceded in death by four brothers - Peter, Roy, Francis, and Joseph and four sisters - Dorothy, Elizabeth, Evelyn and Blanche. A Mass will be held on Monday, June 1, 2009 at 10:45 A.M. at Most Blessed Sacrament Church 610 Pine St. Bally, PA 19503. Call Monday 9:30-10:30 A.M. in the church. The C. R. Strunk Funeral Home, Inc.
