Arthur L. Fels, 75, of Quakertown died Monday, August 6, 2007 in his home. He was the husband of the late Claire E. (Lick) Fels. Born in Quakertown he was the son of the late Ernest & Rosa (Wolf) Fels. He retired in 2002 as a machinest for Bracalente Manufacturing in Trumbauersville. Following retirement he worked as a caretaker for Mill Pond Kennel in Quakertown. Arthur was a member of Mumbauersville Gun Club. He was a U. S. Army Veteran serving during the Korean War. Arthur is survived by a son Arthur A. and his wife Kim of Pennsburg, two daughters Bonnie S. Rismondo and her finace Tim Oswald of Quakertown and Roseanna D. Vellner and her husband Chris of Sellersville. A brother Edwin Fels of Quakertown and three sisters Ida Fromm of Hereford, Mary Leister and Anna Kneller both of Quakertown. Eight grandchildren and three great grandchildren. He was predeceased by a daughter Debbie Hersch and a great grandchild. Services will be held on Saturday at 11:00 A.M. in the C. R. Strunk Funeral Home, Inc. (www.crstrunk.com) 821 W. Broad St. Quakertown. Call Friday evening 7:00-8:30 P.M. and Saturday 10:00-11:00 A.M. in the funeral home.
