Arthur E. DeGrendele, 81, of Milford Township died December 8, 2010 in his home. He was the husband of Julia (Walton) DeGrendele and the late Dolores DiPietro. Born in Belleville, IL he was the son of the late Howard & Frances (Gibson) DeGrendele. He worked for DiOttavio & Son in Philadelphia before retiring. After that he was a school bus driver for Levy Bus Company, Trumbauersville. Arthur enjoyed bowling with the Business Man's League and was a member of the Quakertown American Legion Post 242 and the Sellersville Moose. He was also the founder and former president of the Quakertown Slow Pitch League in Trumbauersville. He was a U.S. Navy Veteran. In addition to his wife he is survived by a son Arthur W. of Reading, two daughters Dawn D. Harris and her husband Ronald M. of Pennsburg and Lucille Thomas of New Jersey. A sister Sandy Hyde of Jackson, MI. Three grandchildren Ryan Mark Harris, Ethan Jacob Harris and Degge Thomas. Calling hour will be held Saturday, December 18, 2010 from 2:00-2:45 P.M. in St. Mark's Lutheran Church multi-purpose room, 81 Main St. Pennsburg, PA 18073. Followed by a celebration of life service in the church Sanctuary at 3:00 P.M. Food and fellowship will follow in the church social hall.
