Arlene R. Bishop, 89, of Richlandtown died August 19, 2012 in Phoebe Richland Health Care Center, Richlandtown. She was the wife of the late Robert M. Bishop. Born in Richlandtown she was the daughter of the late Warren H. & Anna (Ridenour) Sames. She was a seamstress for various clothing mills in the Upper Bucks Area before retiring. Arlene was a member of the Richlandtown Playground Association, and a life member of the Richlandtown Fire Company Ladies Auxiliary. She also enjoyed sewing and cooking. She was a member of St. John's Evangelical Lutheran Church in Richlandtown. She is survived by a daughter Barbara A. Fluck and her husband Roger of Quakertown. A sister Anna Mae Eisenhart of Quakertown. Three grandchildren Janelle Morris (Robert), Jarred Fluck and Jeremy Fluck. She was predeceased by a son Michael J. Shantz. Services will be held on Friday, August 24, 2012 at 11:00 A.M. in the C. R. Strunk Funeral Home, Inc. (www.crstrunk.com) 821 W. Broad St. Quakertown, PA 18951.
