Arlene E. Nace, 80, of Quakertown died in the home of her son Randal on June 7, 2011. She was the wife of the late Merritt "Joe" Nace who died in 1979. Born in Quakertown on March 7, 1931 she was the daughter of the late John & Clara (Walker) Swartz. She was a waitress at Coopersburg Diner before retiring in 2001. Prior to that she was a seamstress for the former Jordan Clothing in Quakertown and worked for the former Kollsman Motors in Dublin. She is survived by a daughter Barbara wife of George Barr of New Tripoli, son Randal Wetzel and his wife Deborah of Quakertown. Four grandchildren Tara, Stephanie, Elias, and Erin. A great grandchild Giselle. Three nieces Fay, Linda, Susie and a nephew John. She is also survived by her best friend Debbie. Predeceased by a brother Frank "Brownie" Swartz, a sister Esther Greiger and a step son Dennis Nace. Graveside services will be private and at the convenience of the family. Arrangements by the C. R.
