Alec Jamieson, 86, of Quakertown died Thursday, February 22, 2007 in St. Luke's Quakertown Hospital. He was the husband of Ruth (Labaw) Jamieson. They were married 50 years last September. He retired from Fuller Co. in Catasauqua where he was a mining engineer. Born in Parkgate, England he was the son of the late Thomas and Marie (Fewtrell) Jamieson. Mr. Jamieson was a 1943 graduate of the Colorado School of Mines. He served as a former chairman of the Richland Township Board of Supervisors for 18 years. Serving in the U.S. Navy for 37 years Alec served during WWII, and Korea and rose to the rank of Lieutenant Commander he was a member of the Perkasie American Legion and the Quakertown Masonic Lodge. He was also a member of the Quakertown United Methodist Church, in Quakertown. In addition to his wife he is survived by a son Alec B. of Quakertown and a brother George T. of Sarasota, Florida. Services will be held on Monday, February 26, 2007 at 11:00 A.M. at Quakertown United Methodist Church 1875 Freier Rd. Quakertown. Call 10:00-11:00 A.M. in the church. The C. R.
