Albert W. Hilker, 72, of Quakertown died January 10, 2009 in his home. Born in Philadelphia he was the son of the late Albert A. & Margaretha (Amon) Hilker. Prior to his retirement he was a deputy game protector for the PA Game Commission. He also served with the Commissions Food & Cover Corp.. Prior to that he was a service manager for Jarrett Dodge in Hatboro. Albert was a member of Great Swamp Fish & Game, the North Penn Gun Club and the Betterment Club. He also was an outdoorsman who enjoyed fishing. He is survived by his three children Karen A. Maugle, Stephen Hilker and Greta L. Krause and her husband Kevin. Five grandchildren Randi, Tammy, Bradley, Kyle, and Cody. Three great grandchildren Raeann, Gage, and Shane. He is also survived by his ex-wife and close friend June M. Hilker. Memorial services will be held on Thursday, January 15, 2009 at 7:00 P.M. in the C. R. Strunk Funeral Home, Inc. (www.crstrunk.com) 821 W. Broad St. Quakertown.
