Albert Edwin Smith, Jr., 79, of Quakertown formerly of Horsham, Philadelphia and Hatfield Twp., died Friday October 31, 2008 in the Hospice House of the VNA of St. Luke's, Bethlehem. Born in Horsham Twp., Montgomery County he was the son of the late Albert E., Sr. and Mary (Meyers) Smith. He was a self-employed carpenter before retiring. Albert was the former President of the Lions Club in Hatfield and enjoyed gardening and ball room dancing. He was a member of The Church of The Incarnation in Quakertown. Albert is survived by four children Albert E. Smith, III of West Chester, PA, Shirley Juskowiak and her husband Gary of Chesterfield, Virginia, Stephen W. Smith of Green Lane, PA and Sally Mobley of Peyton, Colorado. A sister Mary Smiley of Dunedin, Florida. Six grandchildren Tonya, Lauren, Gary II., Michele, Vernon, and Matthew. Four great grandchildren Charlie, Nathaniel, Nicholas, and Catherine. A nephew John Willox of Ambler, PA. He was predeceased by a brother Elmer. Services will be held on Thursday, November 6, 2008 at 10:00 A.M. at The Church of the Incarnation 44 S. 8th St. Quakertown, PA 18951. A viewing will be held on Thursday 9:00-10:00 A.M. in the church. The C. R. Strunk Funeral Home, Inc. (ww.crstrunk.com) Quakertown is in charge of the arrangements.
