Thomas P. McDevitt, 73, of Quakertown formerly of Roxborough, died November 11, 2010 in his home. Born in Philadelphia he was the son of the late Patrick & Marie (Wendel) McDevitt. He retired in 1998 as a machinist for the former Fischer & Porter in Warminster. Thomas enjoyed woodworking and carpentry. He is survived by a daughter Kathleen M. Doyle of Quakertown. Two sons Thomas P. and his wife Bethann of Willow Grove , and John J. and his wife Linda of Absecon, NJ. Four brothers John, James, William, Mickey, three sisters Anne Conroy, Katherine Emsley, and Rose O'Donnell. Nine grandchildren Kathleen, Patrick, & Lisa Doyle, Thomas, Bryan, & Devin McDevitt, Jennifer & Danielle McDevitt, and Ashley McDevitt-Haas. A great grandchild Evan Haas. A memorial service will be held on Saturday, November 20, 2010 at 11:00 A.M. in the C. R. Strunk Funeral Home, Inc. (www.crstrunk.com) 821 W. Broad St. Quakertown.
