Harold Nelson Bender

Obituary Harold "Nelson" Bender, of Perkasie, PA was born to Harold C. and Mary Bender on March 21, 1941 in Philadelphia. He was one of 5 children and was predeceased by three of his siblings; Mary Menta, Rita Battista & Ronald Bender. Nelson was currently retired from a lifetime career in HVAC. He and his brother Frank ran the family business known as PSG, Industries for 25 years. His close friends and family were beneficiaries of his wittiness and lighthearted jokes. He enjoyed his time with his family and friends sailing on the Chesapeake Bay then boating in Avalon, NJ where he spent his time fishing and enjoying the sunsets from his deck. He is survived by his wife of 55 years Elizabeth Bender; Brother Frank Bender and his wife Donna. Daughters: Michelle Mayer, and Theresa Mayer; and four grandchildren: Danielle, Erika, Michael and Thomas, also several nieces and nephews. Services will be held on Saturday, April 21, 2018 at St. Agnes RC Church located at 445 N Main St, Sellersville, PA 18960 starting at 12:00 PM. Call 11:00-11:45 A.M.
