Glenn E. Hillegass, 77 of Quakertown formerly of Macungie died Friday March 25, 2011 in GrandView Hospital, Sellersville. Born in Spinnerstown he was the son of the late Wayne and Anna Mae (Rush) Hillegass. Glenn was a U.S. Army veteran of the Korean War. He was also a member of the Palm American Legion. He enjoyed the outdoors and going to the cabin with his best friend Schmo. He is survived by two daughters Connie L. Moyer and Robin L. Ford and her husband Jason. Four grandchildren Chasity, Joshua, Brielle and Brandi. One great grandchild Jonah. Three brothers Larry, Gerald and Roger. He was predeceased by a brother Robert and a sister Rhea Afflerbach. Services will be held on Tuesday March 29, 2011 at 1:30 p.m. in the C. R. Strunk Funeral Home, Inc. (www.crstrunk.com) 821 W. Broad St. Quakertown, PA 18951. Call from 12:30 p.m. to 1:30 p.m. in the funeral home. Memorial contributions can be made to the American Cancer Society or the Disabled Veterans.
